The Birth of a wallet
The Birth of a wallet takes about 3 hours of intense labor. The "intense" part is my focus on detail throughout each step. All my wallets are made from Full-Grain Veg-Tan Leather. Before the dye goes on, I give each piece of leather a good workover. A bend here and a fold there. There's a thought process involved. When the dye goes on, it hits the high spots 1st, then again and again until desired shad of Saddle Tan appears in front of me. Then each piece gets buffed with a soft detail cloth. One stitch at a time with waxed polyester thread, utilizing the saddle stitch. Then the edges are burnished and sealed with beeswax.

Each wallet cut from the same die, each piece of leather manipulated in such a way, that the process, softens the leather. Some think that's where the magic happens. Or maybe it's the way the dye is applied. Each wallet has its own identity. This is my Bifold 5 card wallet.
